Note: Not mandatory for group judge for breeds in the group that they are not approved at level 4, but attendance strongly recommended<\/p><p>At this level you can Unlimited number of classes for the respective breed at limited, open or championship shows (no CCs)<\/p><p>Any variety classes, groups and best in show at limited shows<\/p><h4><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Level 3<\/span><\/h4><ul><li>Undergo minimum of three mentoring sessions with a minimum of 12 months between first and third session<\/li><li>Be observed judging a breed club show, breed supported entry show or championship show without CCs<\/li><li>Complete remaining 10 full-day stewarding appointments (onetime qualification)<\/li><li>Have owned\/bred a minimum of three dogs when they obtained their first entry in The Kennel Club Stud Book \u2013 save for exceptional circumstances (one-time qualification for first breed in which a judge awards CCs)<\/li><li>Attended the appropriate sub-group field trial\/open gundog working test for first gundog breed or ring procedure at licensed shows (German Shepherd Dog education programme) online exam (one-time qualification)<\/li><li>Have achieved the relevant hands-on experience in line with the stated requirements for the relevant <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thekennelclub.org.uk\/events-and-activities\/dog-showing\/already-competing-in-dog-showing\/certificate-types\/#studbookbands\">stud book band<\/a>:<ul><li>Band A minus<sup>1<\/sup> \u2013 15 dogs<\/li><li>Band A \u2013 20 dogs<\/li><li>Band B \u2013 35 dogs<\/li><li>Band C \u2013 60 dogs<\/li><li>Band D \u2013 90 dogs<\/li><li>Band E \u2013 125 dogs<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul><p>The following types of event may be used to claim hands-on experience numbers:<\/p><ul><li>Breed classes at championship shows without CCs<\/li><li>Breed classes at open shows<\/li><li>Breed classes at limited shows<\/li><li>Mock\/training classes at breed club shows (practical judging days) \u2013 only one occasion can be claimed and a maximum of five dogs<\/li><li>Dogs judged at Kennel Club approved assessments, maximum of five dogs \u2013 only one occasion and a maximum of five dogs. Cannot be used in addition to mock classes<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>Dogs judged at inter or intra-club single-breed matches<\/li><li>Special award classes at breed club shows<\/li><li>Supported entry shows<\/li><li>Dogs judged at single breed dog of the year competitions<\/li><li>Overseas appointments<\/li><\/ul><p>Dogs judged at the following types of event may <em>not<\/em> be included in a judge\u2019s hands-on experience:<\/p><ul><li>AVNSC and variety classes<\/li><li>At fun days<\/li><li>Conjointly with other judges at events where the candidate judge is not required to give independent judgment on the dogs<\/li><li>Any JEP mentoring sessions<\/li><\/ul><p>At this level you can Unlimited number of classes for the respective breed at limited, open or championship shows (no CCs)<\/p><p>Any variety classes groups and best in show at limited shows<\/p><h4><u>Level 4<\/u><\/h4><ul><li>Attend and passed a breed-specific assessment for the specific breed run by The Kennel Club<\/li><\/ul><p>At this level you can award Challenge Certificates in the respective breed, and judge any variety classes, groups and best in show at open and limited shows<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Judging Criteria So you want to judge Siberian Huskies &#8211; Well here\u2019s what you need to do!
